Why China?

Why China? Just curious why everyone seems to be buying these Chinese quads? Why not stick with the traditional and “Warranted” Suzuki, Yamaha, or Honda quads. I would never purchase anything from some online fly by night garage operation, especially a motorized vehicle I plan and putting my kid on. I do understand the price difference, but you do get what you pay for. I appreciate your feedback positive or negative.

Go to www.quadwarehouse.com they can help you out alot. I bought my Yamoto 150 from there and they help you out with every little detail when ordering.

If you buy from a company that is not a fly by night busness then you will get good service. Raceway has been very good to alot of people and they even help ones that did not buy from them. The chinese quads have all the features the bigger quads do unlike the name brand quads. Yes the name brands are qoing to be better in the long run but the cheap ones are getting better and better. I surely dont want to spend 2k-2.5k on a brand new name brand atv for my sons first atv. I would rather have him learn on a cheaper atv for his first. I had a Kazuma 110 and now have a Quazi 110 that is exactly like a Raptor but has all the bells and whistles the Yamaha dont. He loves it and it has been trouble free. Why not buy a cheap chinese atv? Also you get alot more than you pay for.

I took a chance on the yamoto 150 because it was 1/2 the price of a jap quad. I also bought it for my wife and she isnt tough on anything. The yamoto 150 is a decent machine now that I have replaced the rear shock. Stock the rear suspension was useless. Besides the stock rear shock the quad is real nice, not as fast as they claim (45mph) but plenty for my wife (32mph).

Just bought my son a kuzuma 50 from racewayatv and I am extremly impressed by the way it tackles the terrain. We went out today and he managed to make it through a mud hole I thought for sure I would have to pull him out of.Also has enough power to get him up a loose packed and soft clay trails around our house in north georgia mountains.forges water to about 14" without problems.although being honest I would definitely its not perfect(no front suspension, only rear brake)which doesnt help for good traction but air down the tires helped.money is always a factor but being he is young still, when he outgrows it his sister gets the hand me down.

The biggest problem the chinese quads have is the lack of a dealer network. The trailer queen mentality and all the fly by nite "dealers" have made the biggest contribution to the bad reputation. If they would have just have set up some kind of dealer network. It also wouldnt have hurt to limit the number of versions of the same quad under multiple names. It isnt the product so much as it is the way they were distributed.

I thought all LT80's were Tiawanese. LOL
The only thoughts I have toward this is:::
We are getting flooded with Chinese bearings. These bearings have proven to be very far off in reliability. So what do you think the Chinese quads have in them.
This is just a bearing example. What else on them is going to wear out twice as fast?
I like a good deal as much as the next man. I feel the difference would be the application.
For a yard machine/light trail/etc. I think all can be good. For someone with an aggressive child, the more $ the more reliability it seems (thinking of the TRX90) Altho for racing all will break.
