With the low power output of the LT, you might look into a lawnmower tire. I have seen some "S" pattern mower tires do very well on trails as long as the machine doesn't just blow them away... They typically do very well in sand and loose dirt and are generally available very cheap (maybe free) used. Just look for a non-running mower in someones yard and offer $20 for it.
We are currently using "S" pattern mower tires (Carlisle Turf Master) on a 185cc trike project that do very well on grass, packed dirt, and loose sandy trails, plus we got them for free when a neighbor wanted to get a non-running mower out of their yard.

I never used these tires but I've heard good things about them. I think they come stock with the Eton's.

I kow this sounds crazy but we use turf saver mower tires on our blaster for flattrackin' & they seem to work good, we do run Hoosiers up front but grooved the other ones for the track they work great on clay Also had them on the rear of our LEM & we wetn ont he trails, sand, dirt w/ them it didn't quite have enough power in the sand but once he got on the packed sand it went fine!!
We got our from Les Schwab for like $25 ea. for the big ones & less for the small ones!
