polaris insurance
Just got a call tonight from polaris telling me that my warranty was going to expire and asked if I would like to renew it for 3 or 4 years. 3 years was $406 and 4 years was at $460. Is that a good deal. Of course I would go for the 4 year one.
Oh it's on a 05 sportsman 90 LE.

As a suggestion, obtain a copy of their extended warranty documenation and read it (and I mean "read it") before signing.
What do they cover, what they don't cover, etc. etc. Do "you" have to prove it was "the factory parts" and NOT the rider's pounding that made the part break? In thinking of some auto extended warranty clauses, "the driver" must prove his/her case BEFORE they will even consider covering it. And even then, they may or may not cover the labor and/or have a depreciation clause. For example... Sure we'll cover the tires on your car. 3 year usage at 80% tread base with $100 processing fee. If a blow out at the end of year 2, it would be worth buying an "out of pocket" brand new replacement. Darn warranty claim could cost you more.
For our Pred-90, we don't have extented warranty. Can't afford it. Besides that, they won't cover 3/4 of the stuff on our Pred-90 because we did some form of modification to it. If your Pred-90 will remain "pure stock" then it might be worth it (for you). As soon as you mod something on it, you're NOT covered. Even a simple air box mod would void its intake, carb, engine and even exhaust coverage. After all, the mod part and its "down stream" parts are influenced by your non-factory approved modification.
Hope this helps (some how)....
