Flywheel nut torque spec
Hello,
This is my first post after being a lurker for a while! We have two Eton Viper 70's for our kids. Except for the leaking oil pumps, they have been trouble free. After originally fixing the leaks by RTVing them, I decided to convert them to premix and get rid of the pump and white gear. When I put the flywheel nut back on each Viper I wasn't sure what to torque them too, and I couldn't find an easy way to hold to flywheel in place to torque the nut without risking damage to it. I ended up using my air impact wrench and setting the torque on it to 2 (of 4). It seemed to work fine, and I used blue loctite to help keep the nut from backing off. I just wonder how other people get the nut tightened to the proper torque, and what is the proper torque?
Thanks for any help!
Craig
