If you read that ad...it also states it has a cetrifugal clutch.....like the TRX 90. The clutch disengages when the shift lever is moved. It's not a belt driven tranny or such to be fully automatic. You can do like I did with my 7 year olds Trx90, put the thing in 2nd gear and let 'em ride, although in 2 months, my son has learned to shift his.

at least as far as our own 110 chinese quad goes, the shifter is so hard to move for a 9-11 yo, that they shift it into 3rd BY HAND while stopped, and ride that way until done. i'm going to look into that this winter...

Most of these atv's have a toe shifter that is too strong for most kids to shift up with the toe. You can get a heel toe shifter for them so they can use the heel to shift up and toe to shift down. I have done this on both of my 110's. It works great. They will fit all the 110's because they are the same motor.

Hey Rookie123! Just wonering how you made out with the Giovanni. I see it has been a couple of years since you posted here and have possiblie had the Gio. How has you luck been with it any major problems with it? I started a thread named Giovani 110cc here on the same forum and ive summerised what I have picked up and maybe with a few years of riding the Gio you can add some experiance to my thread. I purchased one but it is a 110cc for my kids. I havent got it yet it is intransit.

Seems a little sick EH 2005! Yea I know i've been bugging everone for info. I guess i'm just a little to curious and wanting to know what to expect and ideas. It seems that there are a growing number of people who own these Gio's. Just trying to dig up owners thoughts. Sorry if I seem a little to rambunchious but it seems that Rookie123 has had his Gio for quite some time and it is the oldest post I have seen yet.

Yes my son still has the Giovanni 50CC 4-wheeler and it still runs good.
No problems so far.
He does not ride that often, but when he does (couple times a month) it runs fine. Seems to be very well built for a Chinese product.
He also still has the 50CC Jackel (Kazuma) and it also runs fine though I have had to replace the gas tank twice for leakage problems since Christmas 2005.

Thanks for getting back to me Rookie123. I was'nt even sure if you were still around. I've got one on the way for my kids it is a 110cc but it is the same engine family. Your post was the oldest I have found yet regarding Giovanni (Dec 2005) and I was curious how the bike held up over the years since 2005. I started a thread called Giovani 110 mini hummer on this site. Would be great if you could share any info/experiances with us and once again thanks.
