Default LT80 Jetting

Hi guys,

I've got a PM into Jack, but thought I'd check out here as we have practice tomorrow.
I'll make it quick and easy.
I'm having issues with a 20mm carb and going to try to put a stock carb on (that appears to have been ported).

If you have a Moore built motor with a Trinity pipe and a STOCK carb

What jetting are you running???????

What air filter setup do you have?

Is the Reed block modded at all (I do have a Reed that Jack made)

Thanks a Bunch

Thanks, I may just try a couple different jets and see what happens.

They sent me different jets with the Trinity pipe, but I can't read what the pilot jet size is.
I'll trudge along.

Thanks a Bunch

Anybody got a starting point for the jetting with a Trinity pipe......

I think I have a 87.5, 90, 92.5, 100, 115, and a 77.5(not sure what that would be for????)

Jack,

Any ideas on why the 20mm won't run at idle?
It just dies when you let off the gas.

I've tried 50 and 52 pilot jets. Could that be part of it. Do I need to go bigger??

We tried that, tried everything I could think of.
the pilot jet was only a 50, not sure if going up to a 58 would make a difference.

Pulled the 20mm of anyway, put the stock one on.
I found a 37.5 and a 77.5 in my box
A buddy had a brand new stock carb he pulled off, so I have that

Got the stock carb on, seemed to run ok....
But, it died on the first practice and I can't get it started.
It's kinda making a noise I can't describe, which Ashley said started right before it died on her.
It's getting fuel, it appears to have compression, plug is not fouled.
It has spark, kinda I think, gonna change out some of that stuff to see if it'll get better.
We'll see..........

I was wrong with the pilot jet was 37.5 and the stock carb. was a 20. I have a question why is my main jet so high. Is it because of the bore of the cylinder, the compression, and altitudewhere we live. I still think that it still lean. Are do i have a seal leaking.
