Yes I have if you need help email me at tbrooks51@cebridge.net and I'll give help if needed or my phone#. It's pretty simple, one tip is dont try to get the old bearings off the crank cause it's a pain in the butt. New bearings are about $20-24. Use yamabond or something similar to seal the cases dont use blue goo/hi temp. Theres really only about 8 allen screws that hold the cases together and theres no springs or little bearings that are gonna pop out and fly or anything like that it's a pretty simple job. You doin a stroker or rebuild? If you need help let me know.

Thanks for the advice....I really appreciate it. Doing a stock rebuild, and I haven't torn into it yet, so I'm not sure exactly what I'll need yet. I'll let you know.

Question on the CVT: How do you check the fluid level, and what should I run in it? I couldnt find anything in the manual.

The oil dipstick is under the seat on top of the rear left side case you'll see a black ****. I use a good gear oil in the 80 weight range on a trail bike. If you need crank bearings you can get them at NAPA auto parts or Oreilly by the numbers on the bearing they are about $11 each. Getting the old ones off is a real chore. A used crank with good bearings is easier than getting the old bearings off. I pmed you my # so you have a lifeline if you get in a jam LOL.

I've started tearing it down now. I've got the right side case off (under the fan and stator). Should I expect the crank to come out, or do I need to remove clips or something on the left side of the motor too? I dont want to open up the cvt cover if I dont have to.

Thanks.

Dang man from march to october that bike isnt fixed. It must be too hot in corona Ca to ride in the summer. LOL It sounds like you're trying to do the motor in the bike??? If so do yourself a favor and take the motor out of the bike. 3 or 4 bolts and 4 color coded wires with connectors.

Yeah, well, its been a long summer. Too hot to hit the dunes in the summer here. Oct is really the start of the sand season so I'm back to it. Its always something. Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a try.
