I think if his intended use is as he states it is(dirt roads, small hills etc.) the 110 will do the job nicely. I ride my kids 110 Falcon often and it hauls me around nicely(I am 6'2" and 210#'s) I could definitely use a larger more powerful atv but for what he needs it for it should be fine. I did add a set of 1.5" wheel spacers all the way around to add to the stability of the unit. I recommend this if you purchase one.

 

110 definetly yes the 250 no not a good adult machine , my kids gonna drive the 250
