next year the way he rides so I am sure that will be added as well later on.

I vote for the Unison DC90 too. We got one after a bad run with a Sunl. Since we have had it all we do is add gas and oil. My son just turned 8 and he rides in the sand. He can climb hill's. pretty steep ones at that and he jumps all the time. We have been very happy with it. Also you can tune up the DC90 with Polaris parts. You have alot of options for mods. Unison also makes bigger bikes too you can check out their website at www.unison-atv.com
I would stay away from the Raptor 80 also, its not very wide and you have better options out there.
Good Luck!

First off the 6yo will be way too small for the 125. And the difference betwen the 70cc and the 90 that we are talking about is that the 90 is name brand and 2 stroke. The 70 is chinese. The 90cc he will have lots of room for him to grow. At least till he is 10. The 70 he will outgrow in about a year or 2. Dont think it will last till he is 10.

Been a blast for my first quad. Lots of fun. Just sucked when I flipped it last thursday going up a hill that was more or less straight up :-\
A lil under 200 to replace my front rack and gas tank plastic, new faceplate for the instrument panel (happy I dont have a speedo or gauges now..lol).. I'm not wasting money on the yamaha stickers though. Overall I think a great beginners atv. In a few more years I'd like to buy another one and hang onto this one.

i would go with the outlaw 90 or any of the youth models on the polaris side their nice,i have one .the only problem i've had with it was the gears slipping. And polaris has more features on their 90 thank the trx 90 and any of the other 90s and they have reverse to so if u get stuck in any mud u don't need to get of ur bike and pull it out. And be carefull not to hit a big rock that's on a flat trail cause if it hits the polaris's chain guard (wich is not that strong of metal) becauz if u do it gets nocked up and rubbes ur chain and a few minutes after that happens u could be stuck with a broken chain
