I'm no expert on Polaris, but my friend likes his semi-auto. I was speaking for my Redcat, don't really care for it...it touches a hill with any incline, it whines like a baby. Maybe you could elaborate on the Polaris or others. SEADAWG

 

Then your friend doesn't have a Polaris mini. All Polaris minis have a cvt.

 

i just want to say that the first mini we bought was the sunl 90. my son has learned a lot over the last 7 months riding it. i havnt had the problems other people have posted about with this model. i wanted to buy something that would go in the sand. the sunl being so small wouldnt, im assuming because of the tire size. we ride near water, and i heard to many complaints about the predators stator going out so i decided on the honda. after only five minutes he was so happy, he said he couldnt even feel the bumps or anything. my daughter wanted to try it,never really been interested in riding loves it also. their fighting over who gets to ride it first. i still dont know which is better, the semi or full auto, but i do know that they love the honda
