Default Lt80 only with choke on?

My 2005 LT80 will only run with the choke on. Bike has low hours. I cleaned the carb, air filter and box. All power limiters are removed. It will run great with the choke on but when I push the **** down it dies. Will not idle and when I give it gas it acts almost like it is running out of fuel. Will the LT80 experts start me in the right direction please.

Mike

I had this same problem a while back, your primary jet is stopped up.

whats been done? did one day after riding this started happening? worked on it and now it wont idle. i think if nothings been done and one day it wont idle first i'd check my plug and see what it looks like and go from there. maybe you just need to bump the idle up. is the exhaust plugged? let us know we'll help.

It ran great on one weekend, then a month later after sitting it started acting up. Changed plug although the old one looked fine. I pulled the carb off and removed the jets. Cleaned and replaced. Put it back together and still the problem remains. I am going to pull the carb off again and double check to make sure jets are clean. On a side note, the gas did not smell or look bad when I had the carb off the first time. I have not checked the pipe.

I think it's a plugged jet also. The piloy is very small and can plug easy.

I pulled both jets out again. I think the pilot was the guilty jet. Quad is fixed. Thanks for the help.
