Default some mini quad mods.

i have done a few things to the bike sence i got it a few weeks ago to make it better. you might want to think about doing your self.

changed oil with good 15/40 and put a NGK plug in it.

lubed the chain with KLOTZ chain lube.

put washers behind the axle nuts so the cotter pins will go through the castleations on the nut and actualy do something.

droped the lower A arm's to remove the spindles from the king pins so i could pack them with grease and put washers under those nuts so the cotter pins will be functional there also.

unpluged all of the wire harness conections and packed them with grease.

removed that emition control hose thingamajig that hooks to the exhaust pipe in the front and plug the hole with a 10mm bolt.

removed the alarm horn? that was useless.

ziptied all of the wires that were just hanging prety much free up in the front ,to the frame.

adjusted the tie rods to give it a little more toe out. it was to jittery the way it came. some toe out makes it more stable.just a little bit though. just so it is not pigon toed the way it came.

made and instaled wheel spacers. front +2" and rear +4". thats 1 and 1 and 2 and 2

run the remote kill antena wire up the handle bars zip tied to the brake hose.

removed the chain gaurd. no reason i just dont like those things.

removed the swing arm bash gaurd for more ground clearance. this helps allot.

cut the brake lever and welded it back together with a better bend so he can reach it with his little hands.

sliped a 3 or 4 inch long piece of 5/8" garden hose over the thumb throtel to help out his tiny thumb from geting to sore. this and the brake lever were the first things i did . great mods.

put cool stickers on it , more to come.

things to do still. get better tires when these get bald. carlisles and or kendas

put a motion pro kill teather on the handle bars .i will rerout the rear kill cord wires to run this new kill teather....on order

put softer grips on it. got some kawi green scotts coming

put a flag on the back of it. bell bicycle flag at Kmart cut doun a little and mounted to the rear rack

relocate the air filter to up under the front plastics and use a slip on K@N

take the head and tail lights off and seal them up good around there seams with some clear silicone and reinstal them.

thats it for now.

See now here is someone that actually has some ability to make cheap fun better. By doing these things it will make a very reliable quad for the kids to have lots of run time on. Most people cant do these things and have lots of problems. These are not for all people but the ones that take the time to set them up really do not have complaints. We know they are cheap and will need some tlc.
