Default Paddles on a 90cc Quad?

Hey Guys,

Well we finally got dumped on with snow and I can ride. Way to deep...must be 15" of powder in my yard. Was thinking has anyone put paddles on a 90 and how well did it perform? My kid gets really stuck in this snow and would still like to ride.

Hey I just got my son some paddles for his 90. Its a sunl SLA90. The bolt pattern is 3x90. They are 8 inch douglas rims with skat trak glider paddles. It performs great. I think it will work for you. Call Fullerton Sandsports 714-484-5996 tell them your bolt pattern and tell them what kind of bike it is. They are very knowledgable.

Thanks Daron

Should be interesting to see how they handle the snow. Of course I need a set for
my quad as well....going to be an expensive winter. LOL!

My kid drives the Desert Cat 90 I looked on recreationtire.com and they had plenty to choose from in the bolt pattern I need. Though I'll probably get rid of the stock Kendas that came with the bike and use those rims for the paddles.

I was looking at the pics of that quad you got for your son. That thing is awesome!!!! I like the old school racer look with the bigger rims in the front. My sons looked kind of plane jane, but it has come a long way. I put the paddles on the back. I am fixing to order the baldies for the front. I just ordered the spacers to widen the bike a little bit help its stability. I relocated the intake. I am going to change the exhaust and rejet the carb. I have cut the fenders for the bigger wheels as well. Its going to be a sweet little bike just in time for the dunes. I saw you ride a 400EX. Those things are awesom. Fullerton would definitely have some paddles for yours. I got my sons for 220.00 shipped to my house taxes total. From CA to TX. Rims already mounted to the tires. They are super light too. I ride a 1985 Yamaha Tri-Z. Its old but its fast. I am going to have to get me some paddles also. HAHA. don't want to have a little 90 quad pulling me out of a sand hole. hahah Good luck with the tires.

p.s. who makes that quad your son rides?

That is the look I was going for. Unbelieveable what those smaller tires did for performance of that little 90 2-smoker.

Ah the Tri-Z. I liked that one alot...though the last one I saw riding many years ago was in many little pieces after tumbling down a 80 ft hill. :-( I used to ride a '88 250R. Had many a go against the Tri-Z....nice machine.

It is a Unison Desert Cat 90. Damn good little quad. I'm going to get more pretty for it this spring to make it look a little better. I can't see wasting alot of hardcore cash on upgrades as my kid is growing like a weed and it will be on the block for sale sooner than I though.
