Before every race.
Front::Check the rollers for flat spots, clean, re-assemble.
Rear:: lightly sand the black off the rear clutch pads, make sure the bearings are OK and install.

On my machine, I would not use grease . Getting the variator on w/o disturbing the rollers is the thing. A dab of grease will hold the roller in. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

We race ours, was always told in the past to keep them cleaned & greased. We expiramented once w/o grease -- runs so much better. Clean with good parts works best. Worn rollers & plates is a recipe for disaster.....
