The one I'm considering getting
The One that has caught my eye...

Pics of MWQ's 2007 Jetmoto 250 sitting next to a 2007 Honda TRX 250EX
You will be amazed by the finish and the quality of parts they used to build the Jetmoto. I will be adding one to our list of toys sometime this year. I had said I would never buy another Chinese quad again but after inspecting the Jetmoto 250 I changed my mind. Jetmoto really put alot of effort into the new 250, 200, and 150 sports quads they came out with for 2007.
Good Luck with your search for that new quad.

Ok guys. After two afternoons it ain't a race horse but it shure runs good! I've riddenit up and down and all around the pastures and it goes way faster than I need to go! My wife handled it well but knows for sure she is going to want the automatic. To tell ya the truth I think the 150cc auto would be enough for my needs as well. This is way more machine than I need but will sure do what I will ask of it. For the money I don't think you can go wrong with these HIBIRDS. Have fun!!

Yessir It'll go fast enough to bust yer head for sure - and the acceleration ain't too shabby either, really.
Up another fifty bucks? For $1050 they're getting very close to the price of a 250 water-cooled unit from other sellers. (Or at least, the last time I looked - maybe the others have gone up, too.
Sorry I didn't get my report posted on Saturday night. My ISP has not been letting me FTP pics - n- stuff, so I havent' been able to finish it. It is MOSTLY finished, though, so I'll post what I've got.
I'm off now to make a new thread.

YOWWWWIE! I take back what I said about prices in that previous post.
Who said we should expect prices to go up on all the ChinQuads? Someone here said that just a few days ago. He was right.
Yes, the 'Nado has gone up $150... but....
The SLA-250LKA was $1099 when I bought my 'Nado. It is marked $2198 now!
At that same site, many of their models are double or more what they were in February. The Chin utility quads are priced about the same as the Japanese stuff downtown! $4430 for a 2WD 250 Ute... WAAAY too much.
I'm going to go look at a few more sites.

JGNTechPro thanks for the great tips, while I was taking to the Tech Guy he said that reversing the wheels might cause problems with the frame eventually, doesn't sound right to me because you can buy spacers to make the wheel base wider, what do you think and have you had any problem now that you have had a chance to try it out

Those chinese quad specifications are all BULLSH!T
For example, the one site, motoextreme or something like that, has a prowler 250,
It is actually a 229cc, and it is aircooled. They claim it has 19 hp?
How can a 229cc air cooled quad pump out 19hp?
If they can do that, i might as well run around claiming that my quad has 30hp.
Liquid cooling and aircooling make a big difference, performance wise
I think a 229cc with 19hp would be considered high performance, for its Displacement anyway. A 19hp air cooled 229cc, would probably either blow up or overheat after a few minutes of driving.
If it was liquid cooled, i would still be suprised at those numbers, especially since its a lower quality chinese quad.
I think a more reasonable number for a 229cc air cooled engine (that wont blow up after 5minutes) would be about 13-15 horsepower.

I have the front wheels reversed on my 200. Rode all weekend around the place at pretty good speeds and climbed the gullys repeatedly. I didn't notice any problems with the reverseing. Sometimes you get an awkward hard to handle front end by widening the wheels without making adjustment to the steering geometry to match. But the distance the reversing gives you is not significant enough to cause problems in handling. Sure is a benifit in steering feel. Not as tippy. I am thinking of a wider rear axle or spacers for it. Before I widened it I couldn't set up a slide with the rear in the gravel on our road. It wanted to bite in on the front and flip. Now I can go round and round till I can't see for the dust cloud!!!!

I agree with whiskers. Reversing the front wheels only will give you around 3" more total width overall. I dont believe 1 1/2" per side would put any extra stress to be concerned about and it really helps the handling. Mine have been doing just fine. Again I cannot stress enough (check, loctite, & tighten) this will need to be repeated over & over along with routine maintance.
God Bless & Ride Safe!!!
