lt80 clutch slipping
#1
i have a 94 lt 80 that i replaced the drive face unit in last year and it worked good , but now when my son was riding in the snow it started slipping and it also did it one time when i pressure washed it. It seems to me that it might be an issue of water getting to the belt but i don't know where to start looking. Also is there any perfoarmance things you can do to the clutches?

Water is prolly the issue.
You can remove 2 of the 6 rollers to give a lil higher stall speed.
Most clutch mods don't work till there is a modded motor to run them.

I'm sure water is getting on the belt.
Check all of your allen keys around the transmission unit. Make sure they are all present and tighten if necessary.
Probably you're transmission gasket has either perished or is not aligned correctly with the seating.
This will allow water to get in. Usually if this happens after pressure washing, a little use and the bike is fine again.
