Default Wheel spacers

My granddaughter has a little 110 atv and I made some wheel spacers out of longer bolts with a 1 1/2 in. nut on each bolt. It seems plenty strong. Has anyone had any issues I should be aware of?

depends what grade bolt you used, minimum should be a 8.9 grade, on our grandkid baja 70 i used 14.9 grade bolts with a spacer between the hub and the nut, then the wheel and lug nut. this have been nearly 2 years now without any problems, but he doesn't live around us and rides his atv every 3-4 months for the weekend. if you want PM me your e-mail and i'll send you a couple of pictures of two types of wheel spacers i've made, both types work good for 110cc and below
