Polaris Sportsman 90 Modifications?
Well you learn something every day......
Went to pick up the 06's today and asked the salesman...."are you sure these are 4-stroke's?" Well we started one on the showroom floor and it went rinnnngggg, riinnnggg the definative sound of a two stroke. Salesman was floored. They are now in the process getting me two 07's that are 4-strokes!
Here is some information though. The 06's do have a jumper on the cdi that can be removed. According to the tag on the unit with the jumper in place it will not run more than 15mph, when removed it will not run more than 30mph. The 07's don't have that jumper....just an adjustment on the throttle linkage that is completely variable so I can increase the speed slowly over time.
I'll post more if I find some additional modifications.

should of kept the 2 stroke you wouldnt of needed mods 2 strokes eat them 4 strokes up and top end rebuilds are cheap on 2 strokes.</end quote></div>
Two strokes are great....I've blown up alot of bikes and jetskis!! They both have their advantages I just want the much reduced maintenance of the 4-strokes.
