Long time listener, first time caller...
I have an 07 & 08 Polaris 90. the 08 works perfectly. The 07 occasionally dies or runs rough when my son goes through water. Nothing to deep (below running boards). After a while the machine will finally run after a little throttle feathering to keep it going. Any thoughts? The air box in dry so could it be electrical?

I think you are right, it does sound like an electrical problem, have you used dielectric grease on all of your connectors? I would also try and waterproof everything up to the carb. I asked about relocating the snorkel to the air box and was told that it would not decrease the performance of the engine. My son likes the water as well and it seemed to have worked for me. Hope my 2 cents helped.

The airbox stays dry so I tend to agree it is electrical. I also have an issue with the throttle, when my son mashes the throttle on the 07 it will die. So I thought my whole problem was carburation but this week it died the instant he went through water. I'm going to pull the carb and have it dipped then use electrical grease on all electrical connections and see if this solves the problem. It is frustrating that the 07 is having problems and the 08 runs perfectly! Thanks for the $$!
