Default LT 80 starter problems

I should introduce myself first, Hi IM new to the site, I have been reading other post on this problem so I will try some of those anwers. My name is Jimmy, my daughter is chomping at the bit to ride agian so I will get it fixed this weekend one way or the other. This site has been very helpful, the one thing I notice is when the people do the repair oe mod they never comeback say if it worked or thanks, so I will post my findings. My daughter has a LT 80 and I cannot get it to start. Last winter I tried to boost it off and it would turn over but it quit turning over now it just clicks, I was wondering if I have a switch problem (the one under the fenders) or a starter problem? I put a new battery on it and it still just clicks. I it is the starter where is the stater located, I have never workrd on one of these, if I can be pointed in the right direction I can fix it. Any advice would be very helpful. Thanks

Welcome to the forums.
The starter is under the carb (so to speak). You can use a 12 volt supply directly on the starter to see if it's working.
Stand the machine up on the grab bar.
