Default Help Needed ASAP - Read On Please =]

My 12 year old brother got a Stega 110cc Import ATV and now it's starting to break after a week - the wheel has came off, the brake lever is loose, the back disc break has came off etc etc.

I was wondering if there are any imports that will last?

Or any yamaha, honda etc etc (big brands) suitable for a 12 year old boy that are quite cheap?

Thanks alot.

Maybe look for a used 250ex (honda), 250z/ozark (suzuki), we all love our Kymco Mongoose.
If your boy is small, the mini's are still a great option. A trx90 will last forever. Basically anything made in Taiwan is a good choice.

The communists say that they will conqour from within. I think they are starting with their quads.

I guess bouncing over the waves coming over loosens it up . But you do need to check every screw, nut and bolt that you can find before you ride the first time.

LT80????Anything made in Taiwan a good choice??? Dont you mean Japan?? KM08 sorry to hear about that. Your son needs a bigger quad and a 250ex is good but if he can shift go with a Blaster. IT will run rings around a 250 plus you can search craigslist for a blaster and a decent one can be had for about $800

Nope, Tiawan.
That's where most of the kaseas/etons/kymco/and many many others are made.

"" a decent one can be had ""....common JBL, you know that they never made a descent blaster. LOL

A bunch of my friend's have had the same experience with a number of different "off-brands". These things will last 6 months, at the most. A word to the wise....avoid these things like the plague!

The good choices have already been mentioned. I have owned 250EX's and a Recon, and they are dead solid machines. If he isn't big enough for them then the TRX90. The Blaster or LT80 (if he is really small), if you don't mind dealing with 2-storkes. The best of the bunch is probably the new Raptor 250, but you will have trouble finding a used one.
