LT 80 Problems
#1
Ok, So here we go. I've had the LT 80 sitting for a few weeks in the trailer 10-34 degrees as of lately. I opened up the door yesterday and smell heavy gas fumes so I decided to roll out the 80 to what was up.....and I noticed gas slurping out of the exaust so I pulled the bike all the way out and stood it up on the grab bar and about a half of gallon drained out of the exaust? Float stuck? I thought the petcock was vacum controlled and therefore even with a stuck float there could not be a flow of gas?
Anyone that has any suggestion on what I should do? I had a carb rebuild kit for it already and pulled the carb and rebuilt it last night. Just looking for any additional suggestions before bolting up the carb and firing her up again.
Thanks,
Jon

This happens at times. The simple thing to do is get a on/off valve. I see them at the autozone in the garden tractor section. Like 3 bucks or so.
The float can stick, the petcock can goof up, maybe hydraulic overload. Bunch of maybe's but the valve is the fix.
