Default 110cc gio low end torque?

This is my first time on this site and i would like to say it is done really well, nice job! Anyway i have a 110cc gio that works really well on level ground will spit out gravel on driveway like crazy.(drives the wife nuts as she usually gets to pick gravel out of lawn) The problem is when it comes to my son following me around our property he cant as it will not push itself over small obsticles, or over moderate hills without getting a run at it.The clutch does not seem to be slipping, so i was wondering about adding a larger rear sprocket. Can anyone help on this topic, it would be appreciated.
thanks
