Default LT80 Clutch

I thought I remember a while back reading a thread on how to tune the LT80 clutch. I think I need to adjust mine, does anyone know where to get those instructions? Has anyone seen anything on modifications to the clutch? I've got a small machine shop, I can machine anything, just need to know how to make it better.
Thanks

Remove 2 rollers out of the front clutch.
Cut the rear clutch shoes down to 180 grams.
I'll presume your wanting a better take-off.

Yah, it's fine on concrete, but the sand is really bad. I removed the sand Gekos that it came with and got some gliders, and the gliders weigh less on the rims than just the Gekos....LOL I was amazed how heavy those things were! I think I will give them away, I can possibly charge someone for those things!

Anyway, how many rollers will that leave me with? I don't know if someone already did anything before I got it.

What do I machine on the shoes, which part?

I've also been told that these thing don't downshift under load, is that true? Is there a fix to that? Thanks for the response LT80, I appreciate it. Is there any other documentation on these out there?

Sand is tough, your lucky to turn any paddle w/stock motor IMO.
"I've also been told that these thing don't downshift under load,":: only if the rear torque spring is over heated.
There are 6 rollers in stock form.
You cut the end of the shoes off 3/8" from the pad then drill the back to the exact weight. I'll try to find a pic of this.

Did you ever find a pic? I'm very new to this and any pictures would help a lot. Thanks!

I am also getting ready to do the clutch mod on my sons. There was a older thread with pics I am trying to find now. From what I recall many people thought removing two of the rollers combined with lightenting the rear shoes to 180g was too much and ended up putting the two rollers back in for better results. Consensus seemed to be one or the other but not both on a stock motor.

I have been looking for replacement rollers. Can you find these anywhere else besides the dealer?
