I'm trying to find mikuni main jets. It takes the large round (N100.604). The carb has a 67.5. Too rich for this altitude. I would like to get my hands on 57.5 and up.
I checked all the local shops and they don't have anything this small.
Where can I buy these?

Any decent bike dealer parts dept should have those jets. They are used in many many bikes

 

I guess I don't have any 'decent' bike dealers around.

 

You can order thru a Marshalls distributor altho I don't know if you can buy just 1. I get a package of 4 when I order.. Most any quad/bike/dealer shops order thru Marshalls.

I just called. They said they'd be happy to send out jets.

 

well considering that a stock jet is a 58.5, I wouldn't get anything smaller than a 65 (it's WAY lean from the factory) and a 60 would be minimum.

Also pickup a VM486 mikuni pilot size 17.5 and ditch the stock airbox. It's a dirt trap. You can find a UNI filter that will fit, and the little bike will come alive.

These Mikuni jets are common, and they usually come in half sizes

 

Anyone know what series of main jets are used in the Mikuni VM13 Carb??

I was under the impression they were the Mikuni N100.604. They are not. The Jet installed has a bigger thread size dia. than the N100.604.

Is the gap under the head of the jet when screwed in tight normal?

I'm wondering if this carb takes a Mikuni VM11/22 Series Main Jet.

 

looks like a small round one. I could have sworn the LTZ50 took the large round jets. The gap shouldn't matter as long as the threads are the right ones
