CVT Adjustable?
#1
Hello
I just got a used ETON Viper 150. Great machine. I'm just getting used to the CVT transmission. I liked the feel of my XR 70 - being able lug around the yard in 2nd gear at low rpm. The CVT doesn't really go until you reach higher RPM. Is there any way to adjust the CVT? I'd like to be able to have more pull t lower RPM.
Thanks, -Will

I'd think no.
Basically cuz we mod the CVT's to take off at a higher rpm (like you have).
You would have to add weight to the rollers or rear clutch.
IMO, I doubt the 150 4 stroke would pull good at a low rpm.
