2003 Polaris Predator 90... elec. issue
Ok folks. I have a Predator 90 (2stroke) that has a problem. It is not getting ANY fire at all. I mean the light will not even light up on the dash. It will not take a jump, nor will it kick over. I have checked the ignition module, and it is fine. I have checked the fuse on the positive cable, and it is fine. I looked at the coil, and it is grounded and looks fine. Now my thing is, if it were the coil, the CDI box, the power switch (on choke and starter button module) the light would still come on one the dash right? I checked the kill switch (tether) by jumping the soldered wires on the back with a screw driver, and still nothing with the jump box hooked up to it. It has half a tank of oil in the oil tank (two stroke mixer) so I don't think that would be the problem with the oil safety switch. What else can I check?
Is there any way to test the stator without pulling it out and replacing it? Has anyone else had this problem? I am at my wits end, and I am trying to be a hero to my boys ( One won't ride his without his brother's running... how cool is that) without having to take it to the shop.
I appreciate any help you guys can offer... thanks!!!
