I have not had the opportunity to pull it all apart yet. I printed the fische. I believe the second time around I set it up right. The only question with the set up was spring limiter on the outside of the rear clutch housing was cupped. Which way does the cup go? (bow out or in) Could the cupped disc installed the wrong way cause the issues with the belt? Not sure what else could be the problem.

Unclear if the belt is too tight and not allowing the clutch to spin, or too loose. Either way on take off and and low rpm there is a squeel and slow launch.

Ordered a new belt as well just in case.

The umbrella goes toward the clutch (in). It's a splined hole and needs to align and go onto the gearbox spline

19 is the spring washer.
16 is the umbrella I mentioned.
having 19 backwards would not apply pressure to the discs.
Having 16 not seated correctly won't drive cuz the splines are not aligned.

#19, the spring washer is slightly cupped as well. I realize it has splines and believe it was installed cup in. Not sure it would reach the splines the other way. I have been reading old posts. The front does have some wear. I did not think it would effect anything. I cleaned it up when I had is apart to install the rollers. Is there anything I can do to smooth it out even more or do I need to replace it.

Thanks for the patience. Just trying to get this right for the kids.

If the roller tracts are grooved slightly, I use a lil grinding tool and clean it up.
If they are gouged and wore uneven (angled) the variator is junk.
If the old rollers were not all melted and such, it's prolly fine.
As far as wear on the belt face, don't worry about that.
Your doing a good job.

I am refering to the face of the front (where the belt rides) not the inside. The face had some dirt which I cleaned up, but there was some minor wear too. The rollers had some minor flat spots. Not melted or anything.

I got the new belt and have it installed. Hopefully this is the last mystery. On the rear clutch is #19 the spring limiter. That disc has a concave cup shape to it. I have it installed so the concave is out. Like so. I) as oppsed to I(. If that makes any sense at all. The other way leaves everything loose. Its it supposed to be tight. Right?

I put the new belt on and no squeak! but at idol it sounds like the rollers are bouncing around. Like a rattle sound. When you start to take off it stops. Any ideas. Should I just ignor it. Lol. Or something easily fixed. Thanks. I think i previously mentioned I have another lt80 and this one just dosen't take off the same way. At least with 180 lbs. Haha! When my kids ride hey don't seem to know the difference.
