Hi, I have a 2001 LT80 that has very little power and wont rev past about half throttle. I've tried lots including, cleaned the cluches checked the belt, new plug, new air filter, new carb, ckecked the reeds. the compression is good. when i got the quad the cdi was burnt out and had some other wireing issues. So I replaced the intire wireing harness with one out of a 94 LT80. Not sure if that the problem but it seem like a fuel issue.
any help would be awsome! as I am out of ideas.
Thanks.

the compression is just over 100, the spark seems strong and it is getting lots of fuel to the carb. the throtle asembely works good and is smooth. clutch works smoothly aswell. I had the fly wheel off and cleaned it up. Is it possibale that I put it back on 180deg. out? also would the pipe cause it to be that bad is it was pluged? It seems to flow well but does spit out oilely stuff. It was sitting for about 4 year befor i got it. and yes it has fresh gas. It seems to be getting worse (reving less and less) But sounds good at a idle.

Just an update. I burnt out the exhaust with a tiger tourch untill in pretty well stoped smoking, Wow what a diference! It came alive! It still seems some what under powered but is 100 times better than what it was. Still hard starting when it cool to. It will alomost spin the tires off the line with my 70 pound 9 year old on it. Any easy (and cheap) power adders that anyone would recomend? I'm going to freshin up the top end as well.
Thanks for the help.
Thanks for the help.
