suzukicrasher, apparently we're smelling what you're stepping in but you ain't getting a whiff of what is happening on these replies you've been given. go up the 2 to 3 max on front sprocket as already detailed previously, and then you may have to shim the "chain protector" if you really don't want to upgrade. leave the rear sprocket alone for now till we know you can handle the speed. you'll need to govern the dang thing till you know you can handle it or anyone else for that matter. that's my disclaimer. don't put a seat belt on the quad. listen and read what's been typed to you on the entire thread. you've been given good advice. good luck and be careful. and for the love of pete, wear a helmet

Thx and I can handle a bigger quad and I do ride bigger quads at full speed but love this little thing and want to keep it and so if you have any better sprocket ratios for more speed I would like to know them.Midwest mini sells a combo and it claims to make your bike 5mph faster but do you think the 13 tooth and stock rear sprocket make it faster then 5mph if not then what will then for future responses?

You still don't even know what size pitch chain/sprockets you have now.

FYI::A 99 would have 520 chain/sprocket pitch. If your present gearing is 10/22, it's 520.
If you ordered a 13 tooth w/520 pitch, you need 520 chain. What did you order?
You buy a length of chain and cut it to length.
You'll also need a way to tighten the chain.
If your rear sprocket teeth look like a fish hook, it needs replacing.
