I was going to order it then I seen the more speed sprocket set on ebay and I might get that but I was wondering if I keep the stock 22t rear and chain I have on now and get a 13t front sprocket will it work?

I'm going to -->presume<-- that you ordered a sprocket for a 99 model which would be a 520 pitch sprocket. This matches your 22 tooth rear sprocket.
You will need to buy a chain and cut it to length. Then if it's loose, you'll need to make or buy a chain tensioner.
A 13 will make it take off slower and top end will take a while but it will be faster.

I should add:: a 520 13 tooth sprocket is much bigger than a 428 13 tooth.
The ads you mention is prolly for the 428 size which may give you the desired 5mph faster.

look to the sponsors of the forum and they can help you out. contact them via private message to order. they're knowledgeable and will help you out ASAP. go to the atv community page and look for the sponsors. then contact them, then buy from them, then install your new parts, then go have fun.
