The breeze should have a throttle limiter screw behind the thumb throttle to slow it down...the thing about the breeze I don't like is all brakes are drum and no foot brake. At first my son had a hard time reaching the brake with out lifting his palm off the grips... now it is set up for flat track and he doesn't even use the brakes. It also has enough torque that you can change sprokets later to make it faster if your kid isn't big enough to move up to a 250 but ready for more speed. Do recommend putting wheel spacers on at least the rear and maybe going down to 20" sport quad tires for stability wish I had done it sooner. Good luck let me know if ya have any other questions on the breeze I still have ours and done a fair amount of mods.

I'd like to get him a Breeze in a year or two.
