Maybe I have been too hasty on ordering a part. The clutch assemblies on ebay have teeth in the centre of the disc. The clutch from this machine is smooth and tapered. That does not bode well.

Default broken part

Well after waiting a couple of weeks, the clutch assembly arrived. As I had expect after ordering the part, it wasn't going to be exactly the one I needed but I thought I might be able to canibolize part of it and use it to complete a clutch. It turns out all I really needed was 2 linkages so I can remove them from the part that was delivered, an expensive way to get 2 linkages. I think I could have found them locally but being metric makes it difficult. The other thing about the delivery was that one of the shoe pads was broken. It probably got damaged in the mail. Well tomorrow, I will try to get things back together.
