reeds are good. I have a new plug coming in the mail .. But It is still a mystery . If its electrical It should be at idol too ? No ? Its an under load condition when it breaks up ...

Not allways.
You can try pulling the flywheel off to clean it and the stator. I've seen them yucked up and cause trouble.
I'd find the cdi and stator ohm specs and test them.

 

Just ordered a new coil ...Must be an ignition problem.Not much left it could be ..

 

Did you check the ohms of the stator and coil?

 

Replaced the coil.. quad works like new again..

 

ok the coil did work out . Think the CDI module is not working right . Replacing the coil worked . But the quad is breaking up again . Full throttle it runs great but starts to break up again and bogs out . Thinking the CDI is also bad. anyone have one go bad ?

 

I know you have a new top end but what was the comp reading?

 

Funny how things work out.. I sold the eton 90 . Got what I wanted but the good part was I did get it running great before selling . Verdict ??? Dirt in the fuel tank was clogging the fuel line before the on off valve. So when it was running out of fuel ( hien sight ) the reserve position was clogged . good times !
