Hammerhead Twister 150 Ignition Switch
#1
Hello-
I lost the keys for our Hammerhead Twister so I purchased a new 3-wire ignition switch.
The terminal on the back of the old switch are labeled ST,IG,B and on the new one they are 1,2,3.
The wires are Red, White, Green.
How can I determine which terminals to connect which wire?
Thank you.

Just trying to sort out a Loncin Quad ign switch so I know how awkward it can be.
Looks like your old switch had battery, ignition and starter terminals on it so it was a combined ignition and starter switch. If your new one is the same, one terminal will be live from battery, almost certain to be red, another will then become live in ign on position. This will correspond to your old ign wire. The other terminal will only be live in the start position, this connects to the wire that was connected to the st post on the old switch.
