Modified 90cc to 100cc Polaris predator stalls after 1/4 throttle stumped
Ok first I got this thing in a basket case. No spark. No knowledge of 2 stroke but that's how I learn. It was cdi. So hear is what I did originally. First gutted all wiring. I needed to learn plus in my understanding what can go wrong will. I rewired a Chinese cdi from the motor to the coil and set the kill on the horn button. Like I said basics. Clean and tuned carb. Custom air cleaner. Kick start only. It was fast in the end. I'm 300 lbs. I smoked 150 lb ppl on there fully set up machine's. 2years strong finally one winter our she'd let go had to keep it outside and water was the killer. Seized with rust. So I ordered a big bore kit. New carb coil cdi all aftermarket but nothing I haven't ran before. Also no oil injection I mix my gas cut the cable it's been this way sense I first got it. 50 to 1 mix. Got it together ran it I get about half throttle then bog to stall. Order a jet kit 80 85 90 jets all do the same. Half throttle to stalled. Idles fine tons of power threw idle mix after that stall. But if I slap choke the carb with my hand I'll get tons of power for a second then stall. Exhaust on or loose no change. Restricting air to carb gets worse. Plug new. Reed's new. Boots good. I'm stumped.

Solved it
With enough thinking and looking at the carb I got it. I pluged the choke port completely. Never used it anyways. Popped the 90 jet in it and caped off one of the ports and bam full power. Running a bit ritch but I'd rather that then lean. So a quik fix option. Is there. Ill post pics of this modified machine.

no if ya finish the video i didn't turn on the gas. Withot the screw in carb itb alows a bypass of air past the needle valve and cuts off fuel. That was my original problem. I'm not running stock anything. This is my Frankenstein.
