Default 2008 gio bull quad rear axle

Hey guys. I'm not sure if anyone can help me with this but I'm not sure what I'm doing. I bought a 2008 gio bullquad 110cc for my nephew's for their birthday and the real axle is super loose and hesitates to turn because of it. Any suggestions on how to tighten it or does it need wheel bearings? No clue what I need to do . Thank you

Tough one to diagnose from that brief description. You will have to get the back of the machine off the ground and pop the chain off. Rotate the tire and listen and feel for growling, tight spots, etc. It should spin and roll fairly smooth.. Personally if it were me i would just order new bearings and replace even if the axle has just walked its way loose. Dirt and crap could have made its way into the bearings as well if the axle was moving it could have created uneven wear or broke a bearing. This could be dangerous as the axle could lock up as the child is riding and send them for a tumble. Bearing are cheap and easy to swap out..
