I just got and Eton impuls TXL50. It's older been sitting for a bit. I had ran about a year ago. But wanted to know what type engine I should get in case this one is in really bad shape. Also I can't find the year as it's not listed according to the VIN I have. VIN: RFZ5EAXA006635. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

According to Cyclepedia, it is a 2010 Eton 50cc. Is it a two stroke? Eton used a version of the Minarelli 50cc scooter engine for a while.

 

Thank you very much for that. It is in fact a 2 stroke. I don't have a lot of details on how it was ridden or how many owners, or how long it has set up. But it looks like it just needs to have a good deep cleaning on the motor. I do know it had ran with in the past year or two then sat in a garage.
