LT80 Engine/Rear end side to side play
#1
Hey guys;
I was wondering if it was typical for the engine mount bushings to wear out? I noticed that the foot pegs were digging into the plastic side cover of the engine. After looking at the machine it appears there is a lot of play in the front engine mounts, so I'm suspecting these parts have gone bad? (part #09319-14005 )
Thanks

Two in the aluminium engine cases and two in the bracket that both the long bolts go through. There are two rubber "cushions" on the frame as well but I have never come across those with damage.
Just checked the parts list and the bushes are different part numbers, so you need two of each if they are all shot, 019319-14005 and 019319-14008.

Oh that's good to know, you think it may just be loose??? If that's the case I may check that before ordering parts...

So I checked and the left side motor mount bushing is shot (the one which goes in the crankcase casting). How would you recommend getting these out? Do you think I could hammer the old ones out, from the outside to the inside with a socket? It looks like a 13/16" socket may do the trick.
