cannondale site?

I would say thats right about all the old cannondales . They came from the factory with a number of issues that were never dealt with until after the factory closed.
Even though now all reliabilty issues have been solved by Cannondale owners themselves the reputation of the machine will always be tainted by the originals. Almost every past owner has the same story . A lot of new owners who think that they can just pour gas in the quad and not do any updates or do the reliability improvements will end up saying the same thing.

Chances are that im going to buy either a 450r or a z400 for trail and keep my dale as a strict dry climate bike, still wondering if it can handle GNCC racing, if not im going to set it up for MX

I think our dyno day/ group ride proved that Cannondales are truly at home it the mud and water. All quads ran flawlessly, you could hit a water hole at full speed and never would they even hiccup. I dropped my moto through the ice on a river last year and after getting it out it wouldnt crank over because of water that came into the exhaust . After tipping on its rear grab bar I tried to crank it It belched the water out and fired right up and ran like nothin had happened. Love the fuel injected frogs.
