For a new, holdover 2009 Polaris Outlaw with the KTM 525 motor and the IRS rear, what would be a good price? I have a chance at one for 3,999, list price when new in 09 was 7,640, I realize it is a few years old, but new on the floor. Never owned a KTM, good name in bikes, what about quads engines? Any feedback appreciated.

 

I just picked up an 08 Outlaw 525 IRS hold over brand new. I got it for 4000 OTD tax title license everything.

No comments yet on the machine. I did however notice the boot between the airbox and carb was cracking from sitting to make sure to check that I got it replaced under warranty.
Can't wait to start riding it this summer I've heard nothing but good things about them.

 

Angela raced the KTM motors. Hers was trouble free.
They are a higher revving motor as opposed to a low rpm grunt motor.

is $4000 otd the typical price for an 09 leftover? Where did you guys find them for this price?
