What do you think Cannondale's next quad will be. I think it will be a sport-utility version of the FX400.

 

i think it would be a 600-650 4-stroke
like a raptor or DS

 

There will be "3" new quads added to there line up. Two will be high dollar full racers for mx and gncc races. The 3th will be a budget, under 6000 quad. It will have cheeper shocks, wheels, muffler, and a few other miss changes. All will be injected 432cc motors. You can take this info to the bank.

Cannondale has already came out with a new quad. Its called the Cannibal. Its on the Cannondale website. It uses the same motor and frame as the FX400. Thats all I know though.

Newzboy, I couldn't care less what machine you are on.Your telling me you are honestly happy that Cannondale de tuned their regular machine lessened the price and Called it a Cannibal? Like I said before , whoop de doo...Whats with the odd shaped head with one larger eye in your picture?

 

They didn't "Detune" it. They put steel (yuk) wheels and cheap shocks on it & are charging $1000 less...

What are the first two items likely to get switched by someone racing? That's right, ring or beadlock wheels & custom built shocks.

Seems like a great compromise to me.

I guess if there's something negative to be said about it, you're the man for the job.

 

What a bunch of little **** and moaners.I'm not excited by the prospect of a more "user friendly" quad.Had the new quad been the FX with 15 less pounds and new ignition map with a higher redline, that would be exciting, but a quad with an "easier to ride" powerband and cheaper shocks doesn't excite me.
