I am lookin so hard at C'dale, but $8k is hard for the wife to take.
I think I can make a very good deal on a new 01FX400 $6.6k, but wonder if the 02 Cannibal would be a better choice. I mainly trail/woods ride but love to fly. Are there reasons not to go with the FX?
I understand there may be differences in shocks/wheels/tires.
Can you guys help me understand the difference ? Make a suggestion either way?

 

Actually most of the cannibals out there righ now are fx400's with different plastic and a better EFI controller from GP. The cannibal also has better handle bars and different shifter that is a bit easier to shift with. You can tell the early cannibals apart from the ones with the differnt shocks by looking for the ohlins fronts. I did see one this last weekend that had black shocks on it wich i assume are the arvin's. So if yah see one with the ohlins snag it.
