Hey yall well I got my Blaze last Wendsday, and now that I've had time to ride it alot, I'm going to post my opinions compared to my DS & my buddies Raptor.

Power-The Blaze pulls off of idle like no quad I have ever ridden, it totally waxes both the Raptor & DS in the bottom & midrange, but its about 6mph slower on the topend because of the gearing, but still faster than a 400EX, besides it wasnt bought for speed, it was bought for riding in the woods. As expected the throttle response and shifting is excellent, the hydraulic clutch is very nice.

Handling-Excellent, at least in the woods, might not be as stable on off-cambers as the DS, but its not as tippy as the Raptor. The tires are excellent, it slides decently and gets excellent traction. It will be even better if I ever decide to mess with the damper settings.

Suspension-Very good, the double rate springs are nice, it feels a little bit stiff for my tastes but that can be changed with adjustments, it also handles jumps very well, as long as you don't get to crazy...example:60-70ft jumps.

Comfort-really comfortable the bar bend, nerfbars, footpegs, handgaurds are all perfect, and the seat is much softer than the old Cannibals and FX400s.

Overall-I like it much better than my DS or my friends Raptor, it might not have the travel and stability of the DS or reverse like the Raptor, but I can get over that. Overall it is the best quad I have ever ridden.

i have #236 cannibal and the seat is hard as crap, not to mention the stiff shocks, and the aluminum frame. it feels great landing jumps though, and i'll probably get used to the stiffness. so far i have seen many people with a blaze, hope cdale keeps it up.

Congrats on the purchase! I have read on here quite a few times that the stiffness goes away after you put more hours on it and break them in.

The stiffness goes away the faster you ride. If you don't believe me go over some bumps in first or second, then try in 3rd or 4th gear. An incredible difference!!!

Yeah, you just need to break the shocks in a little. I thought mine were extremely stiff and after a while they were to soft for me. I had to tighten them up but my wheel got bent before I could even try em out with the stiffer setting. Now lonestarbanshee loaned me some wheels/tires but now my chain slide is dotted with holes where the chain wore all the way through! I haven't even put 10 hours on it! THIS SUCKS!!!!!!
