I was over at Thumper Talk and found this. People please ask your dealers if they know anything about this.

"Per Cannondale,
the supplier for the windows ran out of the site glasses. In order to continue production of the bikes Cannondale opted to provide the bikes with plugs instead of windows. When the windows are available they will be shipped to your dealer who will swap the plugs for the windows. It is apparently a very simple change.

Cannondale has not done away with the windows."

 

I wonder if Cannondale is going to tell people about this or if your out of luck if you dont find out about it. My case is machined for a sight window and it has an aluminul plug fitted in there with a small allen screw taped in the middle instead of the window. I hope C-Dale contacts me sometime and lets me know what to do to get the window installed. Maybe I will call them.

 

The window is about 3/4 inch

 

I did confirm this. It is true. I guess it will have a plug with a smaller screw in it. The plug will pop out and the sight window will pop in.

If you think you have this on your engine, get ahold of the dealer you purchased your quad from. They should know about this, and it's free of charge.

I suppose we have to wait until the windows are avaliable...if you guys find out from your dealer that the tranny windows are, can you post it on here? My dealer wouldn't be able to figure it out..........thank you, JIM
