Did any of your bro's freak out on how much you spent on your dale? Reason is cause all my buddies think im dumb for going to go buy a cannibal le cause they think there not worth the money and there slow compared to a 2-smoke or a craptor and im like yeah right there probably jealous. This is not intended to **** anyone off cause im a future c-dale owner next month.

It's better to spend a little extra now, then regret it everytime you go for a ride and see the quad you wish you'd have bought.

Just read a few posts and you'll see how happy we all are on our purchases. You will be too! Welcome to the Cannondale family.

Buy the quad YOU want. I would not by the fastest quad stock. Think about what you want to do with the quad, how long you plan to keep the quad. You can get a lot of hp out of the raptor for little money. The DS cost a lot to get the hp, but might be more durable in the long run. The cannon is nice, but right now you are limited in the aftermarket deptment. The Z is a nice quad too. Think about 6 months, 1 year or more down the road. 100 percent stock almost all the 400cc and up quads are within 2 quad lenghts in the 300.

Yeah, almost all of my friends thought I was crazy for buying mine.

The main ones that talked **** were the ones that put all their money into their cars that don't run... the irony.

I don't have ANY regrets. Aftermarket parts ARE limited but honestly, I don't think I would enjoy riding a 70-80 HP quad on a MX track.

This guy I ride with was at the track today and when I unloaded my quad, he said, "CANNONDALES SUCK!" He spent $2500 + on a 440ex kit and a CRF 450 carb, and before he had the carb, he only made one less HP than my stock C-dale. So I said, "HOW MUCH MONEY DID YOU SPEND TO GET ONE LESS HP THAN ME?" Now that he has the carb, he has more power but he can't keep the thing running and he's only had the 440 kit for a month... Bad builder, not quad.

It's really not the quad, I just thought it was funny that he put so much money into it and after he talks some ****, his won't run anymore. Like I said, bad builder, not quad. Another friend of mine has a IMS 440 kit and he did all the work him self (except for sending his sleeve to LA Sleeve) and his runs just fine. The only problem he has is that his clutch is slipping bad, but that's to be expected. The stock clutch wasn't made to hold up to that much of a power increase, so that is bound to go out on any highly modded motor. He has a new clutch on the way.

Another funny thing is that my friend Daniel (the one that did all of his own work) was told by the other guy that this certain engine builder was the 5th best builder in the U.S., and then when his broke down, Daniel said, "Hell, mine still runs, so that must mean I'm the 4th best engine builder in the U.S.!"
