Right on Moose. That's the way we race in Pennsylvania too.... You DO NOT block a guy! You'll get sent off through the pucker brush faster than you can hit the eject button.....

Now that I think about it in our area they all run together. 250 2 stroke and up to 440 4 stroke.

most of the tracks here run us all together. monster mountian had a 2 stroke and a four stroke class that was double gated. i guess if you do it like the cap says if you catch up with a 2 stroke poking along as this guy was doing you line up behind him and follow him around the track RIGHT. joshed pass three 2 strokes in the second moto. i myself dont lke the double gate just because of this peoblem. some are not fast enoug to keep up with the pack then they get in te way of the leaders of the four stroke class. same with the four stroke some lag behind and the 2 strokes catch up to them. they should race seperate. but the blocking thing still is low and we all seem to agree to that except one and of course he is right and we are all wrong

Blocking is illegal, plain and simple. If a guy is faster let him around and try to run with him. Think of it this way if he gets by you try to hang with him because he'll pass others in your class and the easiest way to pass someone is if their letting a person by their not racing againest. I've used this style before it works great. If a faster rider that started after me comes barrel'in up on me I let him by then haul ***** to stay with him while he passes riders in my class. I'm sorry if you don't agree with this but, I look at it this way if someone is holding me up I'll hollar a couple times and if no response from them, I'll give them a little love tap and if they still don't move over, well then all is fair in my eyes. I've haven't had any problems with anybody yet and I've been racing for 4 years and I feel the same way if someone comes up on me real quick move out of the way as soon as possible or be wrecked.

BAck to the blocking thing. Next time your at a GNCC (if you go to these things) listen to the announcer, he explains this to all the riders before each race. He says something like this, if a faster rider comes up behind you move over as soon as possible and let him around, if there is nowhere to move over to raise a hand or make some kind of jesture to let him know that you know he is there and will get out of his way as soon as possible.
