Cannondale Ergonomics?

Anyone ever find the handlebars to be at an uncomfortable position during longer rides (sore wrists and or lower back)? Has anyone changed the steering stem length or swapped out the bars for a different bend? If so which bars did you go with?
Thanks for any info!

I am felling the same thing right now after riding yesterday. I talked to another guy and he said he moved his throttle, brake, and clutch forward. It allows you to get up on it more. With the way they are set stock it makes you set too far back on the seat and you have to keep your wrists bent. I am going to chang mine before I ride again. I will let you know if it helps.

I've put the Tag T2 handle bars on my speed along with a +1 Houser steering stem w/ anti-vibration mounts. The combo reduced vibration and move the bars up. Personally I like the combo real well. It makes the quad feel more balanced and not so much that one end is higher than the other. I also filled the bars with silicone too help with the vibration.

Mike330,
One other thing that will help alot is steering stabilizer. Hope this helps.

This was the first thing I changed. I went with the TAG CR 2x high with 7/8 's spacers and we go for rides that last for hours. Works good for me and we also did the steering stabilizers.

When I had the stock bars, I rolled them back a little and rolled the levers forwards a little. Now I'm using a set of Renthal McGrath bend bars, but I didn't lean them back very far. The low bend, wider bars feel better. My Renthal medium compound grips helped A LOT too... my hands feel MUCH better after the races.
