I think all these state that are makeing proposals to make extenive trail systems should talk to each other so they could connect them from state to state.

Blakey,
I think that is the best idea I have ever heard.Wouldnt it be great to be able to ride from Maine to Florida or NY to California.Or just from NY to Maine.

All we would have to do is get the Appalachian Trail opened to quads, then we could go from Maine to Georgia LOL.

The Hatfield McCoy trails looks to be a good model for a county\state trailway system.

Blakey I was just kidding about the Appalachian Trail.I know that would never happen.
Also if someone in Maine made a syatem like Hatfield/McCoyI would much rather go to Maine than WV.

Around here up in the forest I just wish we could get some trails/USFS Rds. that go for more than 5 miles. On the maps most just look to dead end. I'd love to be able to ride across most of a county up there. I think the biggest problem for us is geography which leads to a ton of creek, stream, and river crossings. It's a no-go from Madera to Fresno Counties.
