I agree with you guy's but I will tell you the year befor last I was at comp hill the day after new years and it looked like a damm dump and I didn't even want to ride there I was afraid of popping my paddles and at the riverbed by my house after almost every weekend it looks like a dump. It drives me crazy to see people drinking and eating out at the doons or desert and just throw the garbage on the ground. I have confronted a few people and asked them not to do that and so far every time it almost ends in a fight until I rais the tempo and they pick it up and tell me what a jerk I am as they pick up the trash. I just can't believe that allot of the areas are still open because allot of people are just abusing them so bad I just shake my head and say to myself it is a matter of time befor the tree hugers win because allot of people don't give a crap about the areas we love to ride in.

Yep, if people continue to behave like jackasses they're going to close more trails. Then they will be the whiniest bunch of people about there not being any place to ride. If this kind of idiotic behaviour continues the only way we'll be able to ride is to buy up a bunch of land and make our own trails. I try to bring a trash bag with me when I go riding to clean up the trash and the bad image it makes of us.

..So what to do with the Jacka** when they are caught??? to start with I say a $300.00 fine for an aftermarket loud exhaust on public trails/land. In many cases the exhaust noise is much louder, and property cabin owners/ranchers around here are sick of it..
Our 500 acre remote location of property, "Now prohibit" anyone but actual land owners, to ride on the 30 + miles of narrow roads..a few idiots caused problems in the last few years....So this summer lots of signs went up and even "Blocked" some trail entry into the area..Every month it seems a new trail through a rancher property gets closed here in the Black Hills...Its sad but true, the idiots are causing our trails to get closed....

They complain about the trails carving up the land but what about the highways they drive on. How many have been killed or injured since the invention of the automobiles, should we ban them or limit them to private property only? They also talk about the increase of roads on public lands, well from what I see the only reason for making new roads is to access timber for the houses for us and them. Oh and since we are on the subject of logging, what do you think that does the sediment and distruction of habitat. "Thrillcraft" are just a small drop in the bucket.

(Sorry to revive an old thread! lol but why start a new one?)
Yeah, those guys are a piece of work, I watched their little video and to me it made riding look more fun than making it look bad. Eco ***** are like the bad apples of the environmental movement, no better than the bad apples in the atv world. So glad I live in Montana and not a eco **** infested place like California.
